How can I volunteer?
It is unfortunate that we live in a time when volunteering is a process rather than an action full of the spirit of giving. All volunteers that work with the children directly are screened and a background check is necessary. Safety of the children is our concern and checking is routine. Besides working with children directly, there may be opportunities to use your skills in bulding maintenance, grounds keeping, special event planning and execution, special holiday parties for the children and other tasks to assist staff in day to day operations. You can volunteer by filling out a volunteer application. After that you will be contacted and asked to come in for a volunteer orientation. You will discuss what areas of the Club you would like to volunteer in or any special projects you would like to do. Contact the Club for further information. |
