Since 1905, the national vision of Boys & Girls Clubs has grown and changed with the needs of children. As needs of children and their families continue to change, so will the dynamics of our programs and services. The Boys & Girls Club of Bisbee is a unique organization. We are one of the smallest towns in America to have a Boys & Girls Club. Our goal is to provide every child with the essential tools needed for a successful and bright future. Every day, the Boys & Girls Club of Bisbee strives to improve each child’s life by implementing self-esteem, courage, and positive values through all of the educational programs. Our youth come to the Boys & Girls Club to receive tutoring, computer training, sports education, art experiences, homework help, and mentoring.
Our youth gain confidence by developing a sense of usefulness and belonging.

Crime & Substance Abuse:

• 67% of Club alumni attribute their ability to avoid difficulty with the law to the influence of Club staff.
• Another 67% say the Club is where they learned how to "say no" to drugs and alcohol.

Dropout Rates:

• 28% of alumni report they would have dropped out of high school if not for the Club.
• 51% acheived a higher level of education than they thought possible because of attending the Club.

Childhood Obesity:

• 80% of alumni said the Club had a positive impact on their attitude toward fitness and health.
• 74% of Club alumni report participating in organized sports.
